The Amrita Internship Program is a great way for international students and graduates to augment their studies and research while living and working in India. The program builds on one’s previous academic and professional experience, expands and deepens existing knowledge of a particular field, and provides an opportunity to collaborate with one of India’s premiere teaching and research institutions.
The Amrita Center for International Programs welcomes applications from international students interested in living and studying in India for one or two semesters. The institution currently offers courses in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Ayurveda (ancient Indian study of medicine), Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, Arts and Sciences, Education, Communication/Journalism, and Social Work.
The Amrita Center for International Programs is proud to present the Amrita Dual Degree, an academically attractive alternative to traditional methods of study. Through the dual degree programs, Amrita students can undertake graduate coursework towards two separate degrees, simultaneously, usually completing the course in just two years.
Apart from student exchange and dual degree programs, Amrita offers a variety of integrated programs for students to choose from. Amrita students are strongly encouraged to supplement their current academic experience by participating in a student exchange program with one of our partner universities. Through our semester’s exchange program (one or two semesters), ACIP aims to provide students with a meaningful overseas educational experience.
Integrated program provides students a platform to complete their B.Tech and MS degree in five years. Students have the option of participating in a Master’s program from our partner universities. Amrita offers many Integrated programs with several partner universities.

A research internship also known as dissertation internship is where you will undertake research work. It is usually undertaken by students in their final year of academic study. Usually, this would be an unpaid internship and depends upon the availability of the host university’s research lab availability and the mentoring professors’.
