Amrita students are strongly encouraged to supplement their current academic experience by participating in a Dual Degree program with one of our partner universities. Through this program, ACIP aims to provide students with a meaningful overseas educational experience.
About
The Amrita Center for International Programs is excited to offer Dual Degree programs, an academically attractive alternative to traditional methods of study. Through the Dual Degree programs, Amrita students can undertake graduate coursework towards two separate degrees, simultaneously, usually completing the degree in just two years. Furthermore, students have the opportunity to earn their second degree from an internationally recognized institution in the U.S. or Europe. Dual Degree programs at Amrita are popular since students are exposed to two areas of study while experiencing cross cultural immersion. The required CGPA is 8.0 and above.

Dual Degree is open to all the engineering students who meet/match the requirements of the MS programs. Select students may earn an In-state tuition rate (50% off) under AMIGO Scholarships Program. GRE / TOEFL not required.
Northern Illinois University, Chicago, USA

Students require a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and should be currently pursuing an M.Tech in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Computational Engineering and Networking or Wireless Technologies. No tuition fees at L’Aquila! Limited scholarships available for very high achieving students.
Oakland University Michigan, USA
M.Tech students from the following streams are eligible to apply in their first semester:
MCA students can apply in the first semester
MBA students can apply in their first trimester
M. Tech / MS in Information Technology Management (MSITM) OR MS in Business Analytics (MSBA)
Students from any engineering/CS/IT/MCA courses can apply for this program. Exposure to programming, and information systems is required for the General MSITM program. Students should have some background in basic statistics if they want to do Business Analytics.
MBA students are also eligible to apply (they should have they have some programming, IS, exposure in their UG or PG courses and some statistics exposure if they want to concentrate in Business Analytics)
Institut Mines-Telecom Business School, France
MBA students can apply in their first trimester
MBA / MSc – International Management
Amrita MBA Students will study 2 semesters at Institut Mines-Telecom Business School at the M.Sc International Management program. The total duration of the program (MBA+M.Sc) will be 2.5 years.
Students have to complete 5 trimesters of studies at Amrita to apply for the specialized courses of the MSc in international Management program, with a requirement of 30 ECTS credits.
University of Louisiana, Lafayette, USA
M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering students can apply in the first semester
M. Tech / MS in Computer Science OR Computer Engineering
The Center for Advanced Computer Studies (CACS) in University of Louisiana, Lafayette offers dual degrees in both Computer Science and Computer Engineering. GRE / TOEFL required.
This program will enable students to earn a second degree from UA, providing the option to spend up to one year at Arizona’s main campus at Tucson. Students enrolled in this program will earn two degrees, one from Amrita and one from UA. 65
