Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is a deemed-to-be university, with NAAC A++ grade, ranked 5th in the country, by NIRF.
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham conducts entrance examination every year to admit eligible students to the B.Tech programs offered at 5 engineering campuses. Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering 2022 will be conducted across the country tentatively in the month of June – August 2022

The B. Tech. programs are offered at Amritapuri, Amaravati*, Bengaluru, Coimbatore and Chennai campuses of the School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (* Subject to Approval).

 

Exploring Amrita BTech

We are excited to announce a two-day programme is being organised for the Amrita B.Tech applicants of 2022 academic year. This programme will enable the prospective applicants to explore the labs, facilities, infrastructure, department, meet the faculty etc. at engineering campuses. A career guidance programme focusing on each engineering branch will be one of the important sessions during these days. Applicants will be exposed to various engineering branches so that the choice is made after exploring all the branches.

Admission to B. Tech. programs are based on any one of the following:

  1. Rank secured in Amrita Entrance Examination Engineering 2022 (AEEE2022)
    AEEE 2022 will be conducted only in Centre Based Test (CBT) this year. In case if the prevailing condition is not conducive to conduct CBT, University will look for alternative selection process, that will be announced later. Kindly browse through the official website for regular updates. 70% of seats in each branch is reserved for candidates with AEEE 2022 rank.
    AEEE 2022 will be conducted in 2 phases. The best one score out of two is chosen for ranking. Applicants shall submit their willingness to attend the AEEE 2022 before the slot booking process. The dates will be intimated by email & SMS.

  2. JEE Mains 2022
    25% seats are reserved for the candidates with valid JEE Mains 2022 score.
  3. SAT
    3% of seats are reserved for the candidates with valid SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) score. Candidates with valid scores from 2020 onwards can apply.
  4. Pearson UG Entrance Examination Score (PUEE)
    Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is now accepting the Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam scores. Click Here to Register. 2% of seats are reserved for candidates with valid PUEE score. Candidates with valid scores from 2020 onwards can apply.

Computer Based Test (CBT)

Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering 2022 (AEEE 2022 ) will be conducted only in Centre Based Test (CBT) mode this year over various centers at selected cities in India. University will follow all Covid-19 protocols and take all precautionary measures to ensure social distancing at examination centers and have a proper disinfection system in place at each Centre.

Important Note:

  1. Above dates are tentative.
  2. The number of days of the Examination will be changed depending on the strength of the candidates.
  3. Dates may get deferred:
    • Based on any Government notifications.
    • In case of any other major examination gets scheduled on these dates due to which majority of the candidates are unable to appear for AEEE 2022.
    • Any other pandemic oriented reasons.

Candidates who have appeared in Phase I of the AEEE 2022 examination can re-appear for Phase II examination by just paying a nominal fee of INR 600/-.

NOTE: If it is found that CBT cannot be conducted due to the pandemic or for any other circumstances, alternative selection process will be announced by the University later.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has reserved 85% seats for meritorious students who score high rank in AEEE 2022, top percentile/scores in JEE Mains 2022, top scorers in SAT and PUEE. Scholarship seat is allotted during the Centralised Seat Allotment Process, based on the rank and the choice of the branch opted by the candidate. Scholarship in the subsequent years of program is based on the CGPA scored.

Eligibility & Criteria

Candidates desirous of joining Amrita B.Tech. programs shall satisfy the following eligibility & criteria before the commencement of classes.

Age: Candidates born on or after 1st July, 2001.

Educational Qualification: A pass in 10 + 2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination with minimum 60% aggregate of marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with not less than 55% in each of these three subjects. Candidates passing out in 2022 and passed out in 2021 can apply.

University will verify the eligibility of candidates after completing the tuition fee payment on or before the stipulated date. Candidates are required to produce documents on the day of coming to the campus or as and when asked for, by the Office of Admissions. Provisional Admission offered during the Amrita B.Tech CSAP 2022 will be valid ONLY if the eligibility & criteria is satisfied. Proof of the same shall be uploaded after paying the tuition fees.

Important note: It is mandatory to meet the required eligibility criteria to complete the admission process. Admission process and seat confirmation will complete only after submission of educational documents and full fee payment including caution deposit.

. Fill your Personal Information, Mode of Admission – AEEE 2022 / JEE Mains Score 2022 / SAT / PUEE & proceed to pay the cost of application form.

. Choose the AEEE Mode, Examination Centre, etc. on a later date. Admit Card to attend the AEEE 2022 will be available for download one week prior to the date of the examination.

. Cost of Application: AEEE Only: INR 1000/-

. AEEE + JEE / SAT / PUEE: INR 1200/-

. JEE / SAT / PUEE – INR 300 / per mode; INR 500 – combination. (including tax)

[ Mathematics: 40, Physics: 30, Chemistry: 25, English: 05 ]
. Total Marks : 300
. 3 (Three) marks are awarded for each correct answer and -1(negative one) for each wrong answer.
