As part of the Indo-German collaborative project ‘FloodEvac’, the researchers of Amrita Center for Wireless Networks and Applications (AmritaWNA) and TU München, Germany, published a joint paper in the Journal of Hydroinformatics.

Student, Amrita Center for Wireless Networks and Applications (AmritaWNA), Amritapuri and Sethuraman Rao, Associate Professor, Amrita Center for Wireless Networks and Applications (AmritaWNA), Amritapuri, published a research paper titled “Flood Inundation Forecasts Using Validation Data Generated With the Assistance of Computer Vision”.

The app developed by AmritaWNA helped save several lives during the heavy rains and floods in Kerala from late July-August 2018.
