Research Associate Ramesh Guntha of Amrita Center for Wireless Networks & Applications (AmritaWNA) presented papers at the International Conference on Mobile & Wireless Technology (ICMWT 2016) held at Jeju Island, Korea from May 23-26, 2016 and the 8th International Conference on Intelligent Technologies for Interactive Entertainment (INTETAIN 2016) held at Utrecht, Netherlands from June 28-30, 2016.
He presented a research paper titled “High-Performance Fault-Tolerant Data Caching and Synchronization Architecture for Smart-Home Mobile Application” at ICMWT 2016. The International Conference on Mobile & Wireless Technology (ICMWT 2016), sponsored by Springer & iCatse, was organized by The Institute of Creative Advanced Technology, Science and Engineering to bring together innovative academics and industrial experts in the field of Mobile and Wireless Technology.
Ramesh Guntha also presented a research paper titled “WWoW: World Without Walls. Immersive Mixed Reality with Virtual Co-location, Natural Interactions, and Remote Collaboration” at INTETAIN 2016. The 8th International Conference on Intelligent Technologies for Interactive Entertainment (INTETAIN 2016), sponsored by Eurpoean Alliance for Innovation (EAI), addressed issues concerning relationships between human-computer interaction and entertainment. The objective of the conference was to attract state-of-art contributions that address the broad challenges faced in the development and use of interactive technologies to create entertainment content. The goal was to explore and discuss innovative studies, technologies and applications aimed at new interface paradigms.
