In a joint team effort, Amrita Center for Wireless Networks and Applications (AmritaWNA), Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Center and Boston University Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, have developed a smart data summarization technique for IoT devices and gateways.

The paper titled, “When Less is Better: A Summarization Technique that Enhances Clinical Effectiveness of Data” was presented by Rahul Krishnan, Project Associate, AmritaWNA, Amritapuri, at the DH 2008-2018: 8th International Digital Health Conference 2018, held in Lyon, France, on April 26, 2018.

Amrita researchers Durga Padmavilochanan and Ekanath Srihari Rangan, and Professor Prakash Ishwar from Boston University, also co-authored this combined research work.
