Dr. Maneesha V. Ramesh, Director, Amrita Center for Wireless Networks and Applications (AmritaWNA), Amritapuri, attended the “Regional Workshop on Mainstream Climate Change in Disaster Risk with Reference to Glacial Lake Outburst Flood(GLOF) and Forest Fire” at Sikkim, Himalayas, held at Gangtok from May 8-9, 2018. Dr. Maneesha shared her experience on the role of ICT in forest fire management.
The workshop was organized by Sikkim State Disaster Management Authority, Land Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Sikkim.
