Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, launched its first batch of Certified Ethical Hacker(CEH) by Amrita TIFAC-CORE in Cyber Security, on 3rd May, 2017. The first batch, CYBERCEH01, of CEH students who undertook the course is comprised of 30 Amritians (Amrita Alumni Association) from B. Tech. (CSE), B. Tech. (ECE), and M. Tech. (Cyber Security) students. The students have completed the prescribed 18 modules in CEH course. The students are in the process of completing the practical sessions in every module, the various security tools and their functionality, and analysis of the impact of attacks on the system and network. The next batch is scheduled from August to September, 2017. The TIFAC-CORE in Cyber Security facilitates graduates of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham to enroll in the program and harvest the benefits of being an Amritian. Amritians’ scholarships reduce around 40% from the net course fees.
