TIFAC CORE in Cyber Security

I had a great time interacting M.Tech students at TIFAC-Core Cyber Security, Amrita University on a workshop on Information Security & Risk Management fundamentals. The University has a very good infrastructure and a lab dedicated for Cyber Forensics. I also got to know about some of the research work they are doing and is truly amazing that Amrita is leading the way when it comes to Internet Security in the country. I am quite positive that some of the greatest minds in the Cyber Security & Forensics industry in India will be from Amrita University. The Head of the Department and the staff members here are extremely passionate about what they are doing and are committed to give the best experience for its students & research faculties. I would strongly encourage more Industries to tap the Cyber Security & Forensics talent available at Amrita.

I have been associated with TIFAC CORE right from its inception. I feel it is one of the few TIFAC initiatives which fulfilled its objectives and even exceeded them. They have a strong faculty team and a well sought after MTech program. Many PhD s have been awarded. Many projects of national importance have been completed. I wish the centre all success.

It has been a wonderful professional journey with TIFAC-Core Cyber Security , Amrita University for the last 3 years. In specific to our requirements for Indian Armed Forces, the cyber team has been proactive in getting associated with us and guide us. As for my knowledge goes, there is no issues or questions which is unanswered by this team in cyber field. Their timely valuable guidance helped the armed forces in areas where the forces are new to cyber spectrum. I personally feel a freedom to ask and task the team in cyber domain. And the team had never let me down. Beyond thier academic commitment, this shows thier participation in National cause. The IoT lab they setup for Armed Forces is a benchmark today in knowledge transfer. I feel happy for Amrita and feel proud for TIFAC-Cyber team.
