Indukala P. K., Research scholar of Amrita Center for Wireless Networks and Applications (AmritaWNA), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, has been invited by Amrita’s collaborating partner Università Roma Tre, Rome, Italy, to work on the project entitled “IoT Framework for Modeling, Monitoring and Damage Detection of Natural and Historical Heritage Structures”.
As part of the “Indo-Italian Executive Programme of Cooperation in Scientific & Technological Cooperation”, she has been involved in the research development of effective signal processing techniques for Heritage Health Monitoring. She participated in the Italian experimental campaign conducted by University of Roma Tre, Italy and National Civil Protection, Department of Italy. She also attended training sessions on the real-time data collection from accelerometer sensor signals, and their analysis, for the Structural Health Monitoring of Heritage School Buildings in Rome and had the immense opportunity to work with government officials from Dipartimento Protezione Civile, National Civil Protection, Department of Italy.
