The 8th graduation day for the 2016-18 MBA batch at Department of Management, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi campus, was held at the campus on September 1, 2018.
Prof. Sunanda Muralidharan, Chairperson, Department of Management, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi campus, presented the welcome address. Sampoojya Swami Purnamritananda Puri, General Secretary, Mata Amritanandamayi Math, delivered the benedictory address on the occasion.
Mr. Vivek K. Govind, President, Kerala Management Association, was the chief guest of the event and he delivered the graduation day address in which he discussed the attributes of a successful manager.
Dr. (Col) Vishal Marwaha, Principal, School of Medicine, Amrita Health Sciences campus, Kochi, presided over the ceremony and he stressed the importance of discipline in their lives and wished a bright future for the graduating batch. Dr. Dhandapani, Controller of Examinations, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, was also present at the occasion and presided over the medals and certificate distribution.
At the occasion, Anjana Balagopalan received the gold medal and Smibi M. J. received the silver medal. The graduating students, most of whom have already started their professional careers holding different positions in various organizations, took the graduation oath administered by Sampoojya Swami Purnamritananda Puri.
Dr. G. Rejikumar, Associate Professor, Department of Management, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi campus, proposed the vote of thanks.
