Dr. Sathy is an Amrita alumnus with Ph. D. in Bio-engineering (2013) from the Centre for Nanosciences and Molecular Medicine (ACNSMM), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. After one year of post-doctoral work at ACNSMM, he joined as a post-doctoral fellow at the Centre for Bioengineering, Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland (2014-2017). Dr. Sathy also spent 6 months at the Department of Bioengineering, Rice University, USA, with professor Antonios G. Mikos. Dr. Sathy’s research interest is on understanding the fundamentals of immunomodulatory and regenerative properties of adult stem cells and bioengineered matrices for the functional tissue regeneration with a focus towards translational product development.
