Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has actively engaged in cross-sectoral dialogues focused on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through several symposiums, policy dialogues and consultations. These extensive dialogues were conducted by Amrita as part of the Civil 20 Engagement Group (C20) discussions organized under the G20 Presidency assumed by the Government of India for one year from December 1, 2022 to November 30, 2023.
Amrita hosted 5 Working groups addressing critical areas such as Integrated and Holistic Health, Sustainable and Resilient Communities, Education and Digital Transformation, Gender Equality and Women Empowerment and Technology, Security, and Transparency. Discussions were held in cross cutting themes to explore and deliberate on pathways to accelerate our journey towards achieving UNSDGs.
