Students from the School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, participated in the European Mars Rover Challenge (ERC) 2018, one of the biggest international space and robotics events in the world. It took place in Starachowice, Poland from September 14-16, 2018.
After a string of super successes, ‘Team Vision’, a student team from Department of Computer Science & Engineering, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, added yet another feather in its cap by winning the Rajasthan Online Hackathon 2018, organized by the Government of Rajasthan from July 6-8, 2018.
A student team, Team Vision, from the department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, won the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) EngiNX Digital Twin Challenge 2018.

The final year students from the Humanitarian Technology (HuT) Labs, Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering (ECE), School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, won First Prize and Sponsors’ Best Prize at RoboCon 2018. RoboCon18 is an international robotic design contest, and was held at Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan, from August 6-18, 2018.

C. Rahul Krishnan, third-year B Com. student of the department of Commerce and Manangement, School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, signed a three-year contract with F. C. Kerala, an Indian professional association football club based in Kerala, as Goal Keeper.
Dr. Shyam Sunder M., Professor, Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, School of Dentistry, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi campus, has successfully completed a Residency Programme in Implantology conducted by University at Buffalo (State University of New York).
Ms. Sowmiya N. and Ms. Pramothini Sekar of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, received pre-placement offers for positions as Software Engineers from Intuit, a multi-national company, where the students completed their summer internship.
Team Vision, a trailblazing student team of 2016-2020 batch of B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, has added another feather in its cap by securing a top 25 rank out of 40,000 teams worldwide, in the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) EngiNX 2018 contest.
