Ruthvik Chanda (Semester 7) of Humanitarian Technology (HuT) Labs of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, won first prize at Robocon 2019, an esteemed robotic competition, held at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Boston, USA, from July 29 to August 9, 2019.
The team, ASTRA, of School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, was selected for the final round of the European Rover Challenge Competition 2019, organized by the European Space Foundation, Kielce University of Technology, “Starachowice” Special Economic Zone, Marshal of Swietokrzyskie voivodeship and Mars Society Polska, from September 13-15, 2019, in Kielce, Poland.
In yet another successful demonstration of the innovation ecosystem at Amrita, student teams, ‘Unorthodox Inc’ and ‘Yorkers’ from the School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, have made a mark in international hackathons and secured top ranks.
