The annual get-together of alumni at Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore, was held on the campus on 18-19 February, 2017. More than 90 alumni attended the event.
The department of Management, Bengaluru Campus organised their annual Sports Day on two days: the 18thand 19th of February, 2017. The objective was to develop sporting spirit among the students and offer a venue to display their physical prowess.
S. Arvind Kumar, a student of the Department of Management, Bengaluru campus, participated in the IIMUN GOA Conference 2016-2017, in the capacity of Chairperson of United Nations Security Council. The Council was held from January 27-29, 2017, at Vidya Vikas Academy, Goa.

Students and faculty members of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham MBA Programme, Kochi, visited the Amrita Institute for Differently Abled at Vallummel, Kochi, as part of Social Outreach activities, on January 19, 2017, under the guidance of Dr. N. R. Menon. They spent time with the students and inmates there, who exhibited their talents in dancing, singing and acting.
Prof. P. K. Viswanathan, Professor, Amrita School of Business, Kochi, co-edited a book titled, “Globalisation, Development and Plantation Labour in India”, published by Routledge India, with Prof. K.J. Joseph, Acting Director, Centre for Development Studies, Trivandrum.
The professors of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s research centers, AMMACHI Labs and AmritaCREATE, published book chapters in “Children and Sustainable Development – Ecological Education in a Globalized World”.
Mr. Thiruvengadam Parthasarathi, former Senior Director of Deloitte India, visited Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore, and presented a session on the topic, ‘Management Consultancy’.
The Young Indians Network (YiNet) of Amrita School of Business (ASB), Coimbatore, joined hands with Coimbatore City Police this New Year, to ensure road safety on the day.
After months of preparation, Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore, conducted the 20th edition of its national-level b-fest, Pragati, December 3rd– 4th, 2016. Pragati witnessed participation from more than 150 students from top business schools such as: IIT-Bombay, Thiagarajar School of Management and Christ University, KCT Business School, Rajagiri School of Business.
