For this Women’s Day, the Kochi-based Eastern Condiments has chosen Prof. Shobhana Madhavan, Associate Professor, Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore, for the ‘Eastern Bhoomika 2017 – Iconic Women of Your Life’ award.
Mr. Gopakumar V., the Faculty Associate, and Ms. Sneha Govindrajan, a student (Class of 2017) from Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore (ASB Coimbatore), attended the two-day national workshop on ‘Innovating Fish Market Chains for Urban Food Security’, held at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru from 11-12 February, 2017.
Professors Avinash Shivdas and Sougata Ray from Amrita MBA Program, Amritapuri, received the best paper award for their paper titled “Resource Utilization by Pharmaceutical Companies in India: Emphasis on R&D, Labor and Capital”, that was presented at the International Conference for Data Management, Analytics and Innovation held at Pune during 24th-26th February, 2017.
A high-level delegation from the University of Twente, Netherlands, visited Amrita School of Business (ASB), Coimbatore on 7 February 2017. The visit was a part of a high-level meeting at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and was reciprocal to the team visit by the faculty members of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham conducted to their campus earlier.
