In an attempt to raise awareness about eye donation, Young Indians of Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore (ASB) conducted an “Eye Donation Awareness Campaign” at Sri Krishna Hall in the campus on October 24, 2016. Ahalia Foundation Eye Hospital collaborated with YiNet for the campaign.

Capital Market is one of the significant aspects of every financial market. Laying the foundation of Capital Market to students, Mr. N. Mahesh Kumar, a veteran with decades of work experience across leading financial services companies, conducted a half-day session at ECR Hall in Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore.
The Colloquium, held on October 8, 2016, jogged the thinking of the MBA students of the department of Management, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru campus with respect to “How smart one has to be, once you enter a corporate world.”

Mr. Natarajan Radhakrishnan, former Senior Vice President & Offshore Head for Consulting, Capgemini intrigued students of Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore on the topic, offering a glimpse of how digital transformation extended the reach of companies, enhanced the management decisions, and influenced the development of products and services.
Earlier this month, Dr. Bodo Eickhoff, Senior Vice-President of Sales & Marketing at Molecular Diagnostics, a large multi-national pharmaceutical company, visited the Amrita Vishwa Viyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, and addressed the students, faculty, and staff in a seminar titled “Integrating Sciences from a Holistic Perspective: How Human Microbiome and Soil Food Web Might Work Together”.
The 13th convocation of Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore was held on 21 August 2016. On the occasion, MBA and Ph.D. degrees were conferred upon 74 students from Class of 2016.
In a colloquium held at the Bengaluru campus, Sachin Jog, independent HR consultant, who has worked in Mu-Sigma, interacted with students of Amrita School of Business, Bengaluru, and presented a session on Balance Score Card (BSC). He was the speaker for the colloquium which was held on 13th August, 2016, for the 1st year MBA students.
