Amrita College of Nursing organized a two-day national conference on Organ Transplant from November 20-21, 2015 at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi. The conference was themed “Organ Transplant– Together, Towards Tomorrow.”
The farewell of the outgoing students of MSc Nursing 2013 batch, Post Basic BSc Nursing 2013 batch & BSc Nursing 2011 batch and inauguration of 2015 UG and PG programs of Amrita College of Nursing were held at the Health Sciences campus on August 12, 2015.
The 12th Convocation of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham was held at Coimbatore campus on September 7, 2015. Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Honourable Union Minister, Ministry of Science and Technology and Earth Sciences, Government of India and Shri. N. Chandrasekaran, CEO, TCS, were the Guests of Honour at the convocation ceremony.
The IV Nursing Team, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) observed IV Nurses Day for the 5th consecutive year on January 30, 2015.
Prof. Sunil Moothedath, Professor at the Amrita College of Nursing, Kochi won the Dr. MIMS Award 2014 for “Best Health Education Initiative through Media.”
The 12th Anniversary of Amrita College of Nursing was celebrated at the Health Sciences campus on November 01, 2014.
Amrita Kalotsav 2014, the combined inauguration of the arts fest of all schools at the Health Sciences campus viz. Amrita School of Medicine, Amrita School of Dentistry, Amrita College of Nursing, Amrita School of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences was held on October 27, 2014.
The farewell function of nursing programs, B.Sc. Nursing (2010 batch), Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (2012 batch) and M.Sc. Nursing (2012 batch) from Amrita College of Nursing was held on October 09, 2014.
