National Safe Motherhood Day was observed at Amrita College of Nursing, Kochi, on April 10, 2019. JANANI, a collaborative endeavour of Amrita College of Nursing and Dept. of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, was inaugurated as a part of it.

Students from Amrita Health Sciences Campus, Kochi won the championships of the inter-campus basketball tournament (both men and women) held at Amritapuri, Kollam from September 8th-10th, 2016. Ram Vibhakar of 4th year BDS was selected as the Best Player of the Tournament.
