The 19-year-old patient from Jharkhand, leading an isolated life for the last ten years, underwent 14-hour surgery at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi. Surgeons reconstructed his upper jaw using his leg bone. This is the largest ever reported upper jaw tumor of its kind. The hospital performed the surgery free of cost.
