The Onam celebrations, ‘Sarkaravaratti Naalukal’ of Amrita School of Ayurveda, were held from September 30-October 1, 2019, amidst great cheer and the cultural extravaganza witnessed mass participation. The event was attended by all the batches in the School of Ayurveda, as well as all the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college. ‘Sarkaravaratti Naalukal’ was on an altogether grander scale than ever.
On September 7, 2019, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, celebrated its graduation day in the presence of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Chancellor Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma), Chief Guest Prof. Hemantha Kumar (Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore) and Guest of Honor, Dr. G. Dr. Maanasi Madhavan Menon, Associate Professor at School of Ayurveda, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham since February 2014, was invited by the Agnivesha Ayurveda Anushtana , Bengaluru, to talk about her article on “Hypertension in Ayurveda” and to share some of her clinical experiences.

Dr. Minu Rosamma Joseph, First year PG Scholar, Department of Shalyatantra, School of Ayurveda, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, secured second prize in the poster presentation competition at THARVA-19 National Seminar on Emergency Management – An Ayurveda Approach, held at Government Ayurveda College, Trivandrum, from July 3-4, 2019.
Dr. Anupama.J. Dileep, Dr. Aswathy Krishna and Dr. Ashita Ali, PG scholars from the Department of Shalakyatantra, School of Ayurveda, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri, won first, second and third prize respectively for presenting scientific papers at Prayukta 2019 – National Seminar on Parasurgical Methods conducted by Sree Narayana Institute of Ayurvedic Studies and Research, Pangode, Puthoor, on June 28, 2019.
