At the 14th ISP National PG Convention held at D. Y. Patil School of Dentistry, Navi Mumbai from March 13-15, 2015, postgraduate trainees from the Department of Periodontics, Amrita School of Dentistry won the first and second highest scores in the scientific paper / poster presentation session, from among a total of 400 papers and 120 posters presented by postgraduates from various dental colleges in India
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham will now be able to access new technology after being named a CUDA Research Center by NVIDIA. With this Amrita will join Imperial College London, Purdue University, IIT Rourkee and others as a NVIDIA designated research center.

The award carries prize money of Rs.5, 000/- besides a Certificate of Merit. The conference was held at the University of Mumbai from January 3-7, 2015.
