September 23rd & 24th 2015, marked the third annual International Conference on Sustainable Development held at Columbia University in New York City. Keeping with the theme of Independence Day “Aazad Bharat, Saakshar Gaon”, another initiative of AmritaCREATE was launched on August 16th. The initiative has been launched to bring specialized tutoring, via Amrita Virtual Interactive e-Learning World (A-VIEW), to children in remote areas where there is limited internet connectivity.
