A paper from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s Amrita Center for Wireless Networks & Applications (AmritaWNA) was recently accepted for publication in Elsevier’s Journal – Energy and Buildings (Impact Factor: 2.973) – an international journal devoted to investigations of energy use and efficiency in buildings.
A paper on Sakshat Amrita Virtual Labs titled, “Complementing Education via Virtual Labs: Implementation and Deployment of Remote Laboratories and Usage Analysis in South Indian Villages”, published in 2016 by International Journal of Online Engineering (iJOE), was awarded the “iJOE Outstanding Paper Award”.
An eleven member delegation from the University of Twente, Netherlands, visited Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s Coimbatore campus on February 7th, 2017, to discuss potential educational and research collaborations. During the visit, Amrita faculty and delegates from Twente shared their research and academic backgrounds, held interactive sessions, and found areas of mutual interest for future collaborations.
