A technical session on “Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Business” was organized by the Department of Management and Commerce, School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru campus, on September 11, 2015.
On 12th September 2015, a national seminar on engineering software was conducted by Dr. Selva Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore.
A national workshop on Open Source Systems was conducted on September 12, 2015, by Mr. Sreedhu Krishnan, Senior Technical Trainer, Infosys, Mysuru. His emphasis was on more flexible technology which would allow quicker innovation through modular systems and create custom interfaces to add new abilities.
Mr. Narendran N. Founder and Managing Director, Vinyas Innovative Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Mysuru, gave a technical talk on “Entrepreneurship and Innovation”, on September 10, 2015, to around 85 students of BBM, B.Com. and M.Com.

The 12th Convocation of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham was held at Coimbatore campus on September 7, 2015. Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Honourable Union Minister, Ministry of Science and Technology and Earth Sciences, Government of India and Shri. N. Chandrasekaran, CEO, TCS, were the Guests of Honour at the convocation ceremony.
A workshop on Techniques in Videography was conducted on August 8, 2015, for the students of B. Sc. Visual Media of School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru campus, by Mr. Varun and Mr. Kannan, Assistant Professors, Department of Visual Media, Kochi Campus, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.

On April 17, 2015, a hands-on session on ” Foundation for Oracle DB- An Industry Outlook” was conducted by Mr. Sudhi Gowda, Managing Director, Oracle Foundation, Mysuru. The workshop highlighted the importance of the Oracle Database Foundations and explained how to earn an industry-ready certification.
