The School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi campus, celebrated the Samskritam Day and Ramayana Dinaghosham at the Brahmasthanam Auditorium on Monday, August 10, 2015.
The Disaster Management Medical Team from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi departed for Rajasthan and Gujarat to extend all necessary medical aid to the needy patients in the flood affected areas. Ernakulam District Collector M. G. Rajamanickam flagged off the 25-member medical team on August 05, 2015.

The first Amrita Craniofacial Surgery Symposium was held at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences from June 19 – 21, 2015. Jointly organized by the departments of Craniomaxillofacial Surgery, Paediatric Neurosurgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Amrita, the symposium focused on the comprehensive management of craniofacial deformities.
