Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham secured top honours in Computer Society of India (CSI) Annual Convention 2017, for the second consecutive year, held at Science City, Kolkata from 19 to 21 January, 2018. Amrita received 10 national awards from CSI, more than any other university or institution in India.

Ms. Devika Das, Research Scholar, at Amrita Centre for Nanosciences & Molecular Medicine (ACNSMM), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, won the Best Poster Award for her work titled “Anti-Cancer Drug Loaded Nanoimplant for Glioblastoma Treatment”, at the Nanobioteck – 2017 conference, organised by the Indian Society of Nanomedicine (ISNM) in partnership with Department of Biotechnology (DBT) and Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India.
Amrita Vasudha, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, organized an awareness session on the topic, “Saukhyam Reusable Pads” on 2nd November, 2017 at the Amritapuri Campus as well as on 3rd November, 2017 at Amrita School of Dentistry, Kochi.
Wordsworth English language lab training workshop was organized at Amrita School of Pharmacy from January 5-6, 2018. The sessions were taken by Mr. Manikandan. The sessions included an introduction to Wordsworth English. . .
