The ‘Team Vision’ and ‘Team Exalt’, two student hackathon teams from the School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, showcased outstanding performances and secured a prominent position among top 20 teams that represented India, in the 30 hour Singapore-India Hackathon 2018.
Two students from Amrita Health Sciences campus, Ms. Rakhi Krishna of 5th year Pharm D., School of Pharmacy, and Mr. Shankar S. Menon of 3rd year BDS, School of Dentistry, have entered the grand finale of “Speak for India Kerala Edition 2018” debate competition.
Dr. Vandana K. Vasudevan, third year PG Scholar from the Department of Prasutitantra and Streeroga, School of Ayurveda, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri, won first prize for presenting scientific paper at “Prajnanam 2019” – National Seminar on Management of Infertility in Ayurveda, organised by Amrita School of Ayurveda from February 1-2, 2019.

The 15th Graduation Day of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, was held on August 18, 2018. Students numbering 1603 from the disciplines of Engineering, Business, Arts & Sciences, Mass Communication and Social Work received their degrees.
