In the recently concluded 76th IAPM (Indian Association of Pathologists and Microbiologists) Kerala Chapter Meeting, held on February 13, 2016 at Trivandrum Medical College, two out of the three prizes for the case and poster presentations were bagged by postgraduate students at the Department of Pathology, Amrita School of Medicine, Kochi.

A two-day hands-on endoscopy workshop, Amrita GI Endo Meet (A-GEM), was held at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences during January 16–17, 2016.
