Amrita School of Pharmacy Accreditated by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for B. Pharm. program from the academic year 2017-18 to 2019-20.
Ms. Shintu Shaji, Pharm. D. 2012 batch, Amrita School of Pharmacy, Kochi, bagged the first prize for poster presentation in the one-day International Seminar on Diabetes, “ Diabeat ”, held at Pushpagiri College of Pharmacy on February 15, 2018.
Second year B. Pharm and Pharm D. students (2016 batch) of Amrita School of Pharmacy visited Milma Dairy, Edappally branch. During the Milma Visit, the students were introduced to the largest lab of India for milk processing and equipment used for quality control.
The Department of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care, Amrita School of Medicine, hosted the 4th National Conference in Emergency and Trauma Care, AETLS -18, from 5th to 7th March, 2018.
Dr. K. N. Panicker, Professor Emeritus in the Department of Community Medicine, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, visited Berlin from February 20 – 23, 2018, to participate in an Advocacy Planning Meeting of Neglected Tropical diseases.
A demo programme on JGate Plus was held at Amrita School of Pharmacy on February 7, 2018. The resource person for the programme was Mr. B. S. Ravishankar, Training Consultant from Informatics Publishing Limited, Bangalore.
The Department of Pharmacology, Amrita School of Pharmacy and the Department of Medical Oncology, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, in association with the Canserve Society, organized a Cancer Awareness Programme, ‘Athijeevanam”, on February 10, 2018.
Students from the Department of Emergency Medicine at Amrita School of Medicine, Kochi, secured first prize in the quiz competition at the Kerala State Chapter Level Emergency Medicine Conference, ‘EM Kerala 2018’, an academic fest organized by the Emergency Medicine Association.
Dr. Lakshmi P. Menon, Assistant Professor, Department of Periodontics, Amrita School of Dentistry, Kochi, secured first place in the National Budo (Karate) Martial Art Championship 2017, held December 2-3, 2017, at Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Kadavanthra, Kochi, in the above 21 category.
