The workshop, held on the eve of the Third International Congress on Ayurveda, focused on: the future in tradition, the use of Sanskrit in the classic texts, and study and comments on the sutras.

The official bestowing of the UNESCO Chair took place before an audience of 8,000 people during a spiritual programme of the University’s Chancellor Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi in Paris on October 30, 2016.
