The farewell of the outgoing students of MSc Nursing 2013 batch, Post Basic BSc Nursing 2013 batch & BSc Nursing 2011 batch and inauguration of 2015 UG and PG programs of Amrita College of Nursing were held at the Health Sciences campus on August 12, 2015.
The dedication of the Center of Excellence in Organ Transplantation and the felicitation of Hand Transplant team & donors were held at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences on September 8, 2015.
The 12th Convocation of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham was held at Coimbatore campus on September 7, 2015. Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Honourable Union Minister, Ministry of Science and Technology and Earth Sciences, Government of India and Shri. N. Chandrasekaran, CEO, TCS, were the Guests of Honour at the convocation ceremony.
Dr. Madhavan Chalat, a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of British Columbia’s Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, addressed the students and faculty of Amrita School of Biotechnology on August 20, 2015.
Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore celebrated UTSAV 2015- the three-day annual sports and cultural extravaganza. The program saw an enthusiastic participation of students in a variety of competitions, ranging from badminton to throw ball in sports, and face painting to street plays in cultural games.

The second year MSW students of the department of Social Work, Coimbatore campus along with Ryerson University students from Canada stayed at the tribal settlement of Komalikudi in Idukki District of Kerala from 6th to 13th August 2015 as part of the Live-in-LabsTM program.
Dr. Sunitha De Sousa, the Director of SD Consulting, Bangalore addressed the students and faculty of Amrita School of Biotechnology on August 11, 2015 on Repurposing an Oxazolidinone (AZD5847) for the Treatment of Tuberculosis.
