An eight-day workshop of “Capacity Building and Training Programme on Strengthening the Skill of Childline Functionaries in Kerala” was conducted by the Department of Social Work, Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, Amritapuri, from June 16-24, 2017. The programme was in association with The Childline Foundation and UNICEF, Chennai.

An eleven member delegation from the University of Twente, Netherlands, visited Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s Coimbatore campus on February 7th, 2017, to discuss potential educational and research collaborations. During the visit, Amrita faculty and delegates from Twente shared their research and academic backgrounds, held interactive sessions, and found areas of mutual interest for future collaborations.
Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore, hosted Anokha 2017 on March 2-4, 2017. Anokha escalated the imagination of participants with over 10000+ footfalls, 75+ events, 30+ workshops, Lumiere premium lecture series showcasing success stories from all walks of life, Techexpo, Recess-school outreach and a whopping 15 lakhs in prize money. The theme of Anokha 2017 was Innovation and the focus was on leveraging innovation for societal benefit.
Anokha 2017, the seventh National level Tech-Fest of Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore, will be held from March 2-4, 2017 at Amrita University, Coimbatore campus.
