The 5th edition of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s annual national-level student technical festival, “Anokha 2015” was held at the Coimbatore campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham from March 5-7, 2015.
The Media Convention, ‘Media Musings’ held on 20th March to mark the occasion of the 10th Anniversary celebrations of Amrita School of Communication started with a brisk inaugural address in which the Dean of Amrita School of Engineering, Dr. Sasangan Ramanathan, succinctly summarised the idea behind a journalistic education, the ability to ask ‘why’ even under difficult circumstances
To mark the occasion of the 10th anniversary celebrations of Amrita School of Communication, a Media convention titled “Media Musings”, will be organized on the 20th of March 2015 at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s Coimbatore campus.
A two-day photography workshop was organized by Amrita School of Communication on the 10th and 11th of October, 2014. The resource person was Mr. S. Muthukumar, an expert in advertising and film photography. The event was designed to throw light upon fashion, advertising, industrial and product photography for all those who wanted an insight on the technical aspects of photography. The main focus was advertising and fashion photography.

The 11th convocation of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham was held on August 30, 2014 at the Headquarters at Coimbatore. 4833 graduating students from all five campuses of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, viz. Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Kochi and Mysore were conferred degrees.
