A colloquium on the topic ‘Innovation and Technology Driving to Enterprise 4. 0’ was held at School of Business, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, on December 8, 2017. The session was handled by Mr. Ajay Vinze, Dean & Professor, Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business, University of Missouri (Columbia).
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, organised a three day workshop on ‘Comparative Religion’, from 1st to 3rd December, 2017. The sessions were convened by Swami Purnamritananda Puri, General Secretary, Mata Amritanandamayi Math.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore, conducted an ISRO sponsored national seminar on “Techniques and Applications of Hyperspectral Image Analysis” on April 19-20, 2016.
Amrita School of Business (ASB), Coimbatore, was visited by a team of ten students from University of California, San Diego, under the leadership of Prof. Saiba Varma. The team worked with five students from ASB, Coimbatore and chose Sadivel village in Coimbatore for the field work.
Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore, conducted a colloquium on the topic ‘DGCS Concept’ on 8 November, 2017. The session was handled by Mr. A. J. Muralidharan, who is presently working as a Management Consultant and has served in high positions in Veejay Lakshmi Engineering Works Limited and Oswal Group of Companies.
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham participated in the 13th FICCI Higher Education Summit 2017, a global conference and exhibition, held at India Expo Center, Greater Noida, National Capital Region from 9th to 11th November, 2017. The theme of the summit was, ‘Leapfrogging to Education 4.0: Student at the core’.
The Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore campus launched the campaign of its 8th edition of its national techfest, Anokha 2018, on 5th November, 2017.
The Department of Physical Education, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, conducted Inter Amrita Power Lifting Championship 2017-18, from 29th to 30th October, 2017.
