A student team, Team EXALTERS, from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, won the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) EngiNX Challenge 2019.
The 16th Convocation of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, was held on August 31, 2019. 1656 students from the disciplines of Engineering, Business, Arts & Sciences, Mass Communication and Social Work received their degrees. These included 15 PhDs and 60 medalists.

The annual 2019 Sulitest Report from was released during review of the 2030 Agenda through the High-level Political Forum (HLPF) at United Nations on July 11, 2019. Amrita School of Business was the only institution from India featured in this report. Dr. Raghu Raman, Chairman, Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore, represented Amrita at this annual event at the United Nations.
As part of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)’s knowledge exchange initiative and sharing of best practices of Amrita with other higher educational institutions, Prof. Prashant R. In yet another successful demonstration of the innovation ecosystem at Amrita, student teams, ‘Unorthodox Inc’ and ‘Yorkers’ from the School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, have made a mark in international hackathons and secured top ranks. Unorthodox Inc. was ranked in the top 25 out of 10,000 teams worldwide in the 7th edition of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) EngiNX 2019 engineering design & innovation contest.
