IEEE PES and IAS joint student branch chapter of Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru, conducted an interesting and interactive session on timely research topics onOctober 6, 2016. The event concentrated on hybrid vehicles and ECIF on gadgets.
Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru, hosted a student outreach program on behalf of Amrita Networking Club to make students aware of concepts of networking. Students and teachers from The Kendriya Vidyalaya, DRDO branch were invited to attend the event. A total of 42 students of PUC 2nd year and 4 teachers attended the event with great interest.

This unique academia-industry collaboration is a strategic initiative aimed at meeting talent requirements for industry-ready data scientists.
Drug repurposing refers to finding alternate indications to approved drugs, leads in regular development cycles, or even compounds previously discontinued from development. This collaborative project between Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeethyam (Bengaluru Campus) and Jawaharlal Nehru University (New Delhi) aims to develop web-based UI landscapes to provide a data-centric deep mining technique that lets researchers formulate sophisticated drug repositioning hypotheses.
