Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham secured top honours in Computer Society of India (CSI) Annual Convention 2017, for the second consecutive year, held at Science City, Kolkata from 19 to 21 January, 2018. Amrita received 10 national awards from CSI, more than any other university or institution in India.

Jayakumar, Professor at the Centre for Nanosciences and Molecular Medicine, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, has received this award under the “Medical & Health Sciences” discipline. The awards were held at Sheraton, New Delhi, on November 3, 2017.

The award was presented by the Minister for Industries, Sports and Youth Affairs, Shri. A.C. Moideen at IMG Hall, Trivandrum.
