The cultural wing of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, Samskriti, organised a one day Bharatanatyam workshop for the students of Amritapuri Campus, on 23rd, July, 2017.
Amrita faculty members published a new journal paper titled, “Augmented Reflective Learning and Knowledge Retention Perceived among Students in Classrooms Involving Virtual Laboratories”, in Education and Information Technologies- the official journal of the IFIP Technical Committee on Educations.
Dr. Sreekala C.O., Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, Amritapuri, was selected as a research fellow by the Science Academies’ Summer Research Fellowship Programme for Students and Teachers (SRFP) 2017.
As part of Amrita Online Labs training programme, AmritaCREATE, a research initiative of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, organized a one-day workshop on Online Labs for School Lab Experiments (O-Labs) at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Joshimath, Uttarakhand, on July 4, 2017. The students of Amrita won prizes for coming up with astonishing solutions, including national security problems, during Robotsavam 2017 – India’s first ever International level tech fest exclusively for Robotics. Robotsavam 2017, organised by the IEEE Student Branch of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s Amritapuri campus, was held at the campus on July 28-30, 2017.
AmritaCREATE, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, organized a one-day workshop on Online Labs at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Mugalsarai, Uttar Pradesh, on June 29, 2017. Thirty-six science teachers from fourteen schools participated in the workshop.
Amrita Center for Wireless Networks and Applications'(Amrita WNA) M. Tech. Student, Gayathri S. Menon, was selected by ABB, a Swedish-Swiss multinational corporation, as an intern for a stipend of Rs. 25000, per month.
