During November 12th and 13th, 2016, over 2000 volunteers participated in a massive clean-up drive at Sabarimala in Kerala. Amrita volunteers have been part of the cleanup drive for seven consecutive years.

Five years ago, a group of socially committed Amritians decided to conduct a cycle rally. This September 22nd, 2015 marked its 5th prolific edition. In the current juncture when the world is finding it difficult to cope with escalating air pollution, the event was really relevant. September 22nd is celebrated as “world car free day” and as a part of it, Amrita Sanjeevani, the seva organisation at Amritapuri Campus, conducted a cycle rally and 10 km fun run from Karunagapally to Amritapuri.
