A 3-day workshop on ‘Re-conceptualizing Indian Academia’ was held at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham from 4th to 6th January 2019. It was mentored by Dr. Sufiya Pathan and Dr. Dunkin Jalki of CIRHS, SDM PG Center, Ujire, Karnataka.

R., The Directorate of Corporate & Industry Relations (CIR), Amritapuri, secured research fellowships in the Sahapedia-UNESCO fellowship program, held at Delhi, on April 28, 2018.
An awareness program on the relevance of manuscripts, which was jointly organized by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru campus, and the Oriental Research Institute (ORI), University of Mysore, was held at the campus on April 24, 2018.
Amrita Darshanam – International Centre for Spiritual Studies, Bengaluru, in collaboration with the Department of Mathematics, Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru, organized a two-day workshop on ”Glimpses of Indian Mathematics”, aimed at providing a glimpse of the rich mathematical heritage of India, March 3-4, 2018, at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru campus. The workshop was headed by Prof. K. Ramasubramanian of IIT Bombay.
