Understanding the scope for Business Analytics in the industry, Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore (ASB Coimbatore) has started offering the subject as a major specialization for its MBA students. The b-school has initiated many industry alliances, including an association with IBM to provide students the necessary industry skill set. As a part of it, IBM recently established Amrita-IBM Business Analytics Lab in the campus.

On December 16, 2015 NVIDIA India awarded Dr. Shyam Diwakar the NVIDIA Innovation Award for Amrita School of Biotechnology’s work on Computational Neuroscience. The award was received by Ms. Manjusha Nair on Dr. Shyam’s behalf at the Professor’s meet event co-located with IEEE International Conference on High Performance Computing (HiPC 2015).
The National Pharmacy Week Celebrations 2015 organized by Amrita School of Pharmacy concluded on December 7, 2015. The theme of this year’s pharmacy week was “Responsible use of Antibiotics Saves lives”.
