Mathspacia, Mathematics club published the themed magazine “Ancient Keral Math Odyssey” on February 05, 2024, to disseminate knowledge about the ancient mathematical journey of Keralites.
Dr. Harish Garg, Associate Professor, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, Punjab conducted 2-day hands-on workshop (online mode) on the writing tool LaTeX from February 1 – 2, 2024. There was a one and half session on both sides.
Dr. Venkateswara R Pai Associate Professor, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IISER Pune, conducted a one-hour session on the topic “Chandravakyas: A Mathematical Model Expressed through 248 Phrases” on January 24, 2024 from 12.15 pm to 1.30 pm. The session dealt on moon and its positions which were given by Indian mathematicians in Sanskrit. After the session students and faculties put forward questions to the speaker.
Prof. Vellat Krishna Kumar, Visiting Professor, Amritapuri and Kochi Campus continued his lecture series on Number System on January 25, 2024 from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm. It was the third lecture. Students of both UG and PG classes attended, and they cleared their doubts.
M. Sc. Applied Statistics and Data Analytics students participated in one-day hands on workshop on “Data Domain, A Captivating Journey into Data Sciences and Data Analytics” by Leena Ali, Senior Technical Consultant at RP2, iDatalytics, Info park, Kochi. The Workshop was sponsored by RP2-IT Skill Development Training Institute in Kochi. The session went deep into the topic like artificial intelligence, how human intelligence contribute for It, Data Analysis, Machine learning and completed the session with a project on data analytics. Ajith P Kumar ended the session by vote of thanks and a momentum was given to the resource person by the department.
Students of 2018 Int. MSc. Mathematics and 2021 M.Sc. Mathematics had their industrial visit from June 09, 2023, to June 11, 2023. They visited Amrita School of Engineering. They had asession and a campus.

Students of 2020 Int.M.Sc Mathematics and 2021 Int. M.Sc. Mathematics visited the Parambikulam National Tiger Reserve as a part of Nature Camp. They had bamboo rafting, trekking, safari ride and tribal dance. The visit was from November 14,2023 to November 15,2023.
