With a lot of accolades in the fields of Engineering, Business, Medicine and Arts & Sciences, the Coimbatore campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has introduced Five Year Integrated M.A. and M.Sc. Programs in 2013. These programs are in consonance with the national vision of strengthening education and research in the fields of Language and Literature studies and the basic Sciences. The goal is to cultivate a new generation of young individuals with strong fundamentals knowledge, empowering them to excel as skilled professionals in their desired areas of study.

Last Date of Admissions: August 1, 2024

100% refund of fees for withdrawals submitted before the commencement of classes, July 15, 2024
90% refund for withdrawals submitted after the commencement of classes and before the last date of admissions
80% refund for the withdrawals submitted within 15 days after the last date of admissions
50% refund for withdrawals submitted within 30 days after the last date of admissions
No refund for withdrawals submitted after 30 days of last date of admissions

The above policy will be valid if there is any new directive from the UGC on the Last date of admission.

Research

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has always given paramount importance to research. The research initiatives have the support of major national laboratories, industry leaders and agencies like TIFAC, DST, ISRO, DIT, DRDO, Microsoft, HP, Infosys, MDS Pharma and Biocon to name a few. The Amrita School of Arts and Sciences promote research innovations among the faculty members and the students, ignite in them a quest for knowledge, motivate them to take up projects and do research on the emerging areas in the concerned subjects. Having a group of highly talented and vastly experienced faculty and a supportive state-of-the-art infrastructure act as a driving force behind the earnest attempt to reach heights of academic brilliance. The advanced collection of books in the libraries support and guide the students in their research. The departments also engage in collaborations with national and international Universities and other research institutes, thereby providing a wider exposure to students.
