Directions to arrive at the campus from the North

By Air and Taxi:

Thiruvananthapuram International Airport is situated 75 kilometers West of the campus. One can ask for a pre-paid taxi to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Nagercoil. The taxi-ride takes about two hours.

By Train:

Nagercoil Junction (NCJ) is the railway station situated 10 kilometres south of the campus and Nagercoil Town Junction (NJT) is the another railway station is situated 8 kilometres West of the campus. After disembarking, one can hire an autorickshaw/taxi to come to the campus. The ride takes about 20 minutes. Buses are also available from both the railway station to Vadaserry Bus-Stand.

By Bus:

From the Vadaserry Bus Stand, one may board a bus (Route: 4A, 4B, 4C, 4E, 4H, 33 & 318) going towards Erachakulam. From Erachakulam, an autorickshaw can be taken to bring one directly to Campus, which is about 2 km away from the campus

  • From Chennai: Kanyakumari SF Express, Anantapuri Express, Guruvayur Express, Vande Bharat and TBM NCJ SF Express.
  • From Coimbatore: CBE NCJ SF Express, CAPE PUNE Express.
  • From Bangalore: Kanyakumari Express, Nagercoil Express, CAPE SBC Express.
  • From Kannur/Ernakulam: Parasuram Express, Guruvayur Express and etc.
  • From Hyderabad: NCJ CSMT Express
  • From North East: Vivek Express (India’s longest distance train runs through the states of Assam, Nagaland, Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Tamil Nadu
