The Linguistic Club Inauguration Ceremony was held on 16th October 2024, from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm. The programme began with the arrival of guests and students, followed by a prayer by K S K L K Siri Hamsini from I B.Tech. CSE ‘A’. S J Anirudh , I B.Tech. CSE ‘B’ delivered the welcome address, and the lighting of the lamp was done by the student founders and the Club Coordinator, Mr. Saji Krishna Pillai, FA/ English and the invited guests, including the Chief Guest Dr. Janatha Kumari R, Assoc. Prof./Dept. of English, Sree Ayyappa College for Women.
The founders shared the club’s vision and goals, and S. Pranav Kumar, from I B.Tech. CSE ‘A’ gave a captivating solo performance. Dr. R.Janatha Kumari’s inspiring speech was followed by felicitations from Ms. R.P. Sumithra,, FA/CSE, Mr. Saji Krishna Pillai, FA/ English, and Mr. C B Aravind, FA/Amrita Darshanam. A special highlight was the well-conducted debate programme, followed by a musical feast, making the event both enriching and enjoyable. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by S. S. Pavithra Thambi from I B.Tech. CSE ‘B’.
