Niharika Gouda
I am a Master’s student at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bangalore. I got an opportunity to do a dual degree (MS in Computer Science) at University of L’Aquila, Italy, through I2cost Programme. I have started my curriculum here in Italy and my experience so far has been incredible. The University of L’Aquila offers a variety of subjects with very skilled professors. The courses are designed in such a manner to provide both theoretical and practical knowledge. The projects that we get to work on are real time requirements provided by renowned companies such as Micron, Microsoft and IBM. Meeting and collaborating with a lot of international students is helping me gain both technical and cultural values. The university also provides me a grant of 850 euros to support my stay here in Italy. In addition to this, the city as such is a very beautiful place with a lot of greenery and mountains.
