Finally, ANUVA assures that it will continue to grow and expand till Thirst for Knowledge and Passion to serve the community exists.

AYKYA – The B-Fest

AYKYA – 2013

The splendid evening of 5th December 2012 turned out to be a memorable day in the hearts of every ASBian, as the Bengaluru campus celebrated the kick off ceremony of its First Management Fest AYKYA that was held on February 8th and 9th 2013. The ceremony was a testimony to the potential of the students of management. The ceremony opened with a surprise ‘flash mob’ by the students dancing to the tunes of ‘Jai Ho’ and ‘Kolaveri’; that drew the attention of the campus and the crowd of engineering students present there. The flash mob ended with a physical formation of the AYKYA logo, highlighting the unity and enthusiasm of the students of ASB.

The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp and unveiling of the AYKYA logo by Dhanraj Swamiji along with Dr.Nagaraj, Dean at the School of Engineering in the presence of faculty and students, followed by a small delivery by the dignitaries, who lauded the efforts of the ASB students wishing them success for the future and for the blessings of AMMA. The ceremony proceeded with addressing the theme of AYKYA on ‘urban issues’ and waste management and its relevance to the fest, signifying the spirit of every Amrita student and holding it as a joint effort to support the awareness of the issues by communicating across all campuses. The ceremony ended with a 10 minute clean up of the wastes around the campus as part of the theme, to connect with what it represents to the society.

Overall the evening was a fuse of excitement enthusiasm and hard work that culminated in bringing the best of the management students who toiled through many chaotic obstacles and constraints to ensure the success of the ceremony.
