Abstract : Eye tracking is a key area that uses a device to track the eye to know precisely where the eyes are looking at. Eye tracking leads to development of many applications that uses this feature. It means tracking the position of the eye and its development on a two-dimensional and three-dimensional condition to track the corneal reflections to learn where the client is looking at. Look bearing is the principle objective of this concept. Device like smartphone can be used to track the position of the eye. The gadget used will be setting little focus where the client needs to search which results in getting the position of the eye. Based on the surveys, Eye trackers composes of two parts: Head mounted and remote eye trackers. In this paper, we have designed and developed an algorithm based on vector quantization to efficiently cluster the fixation point. Fixation point is where exactly the user is looking at for a certain period without moving his eyes. Vector quantization is a technique that is used to divide the large number of fixation points in to clusters. © 2018, Institute of Advanced Scientific Research, Inc.. All rights reserved.
